The New York Yankees have been the bane of the Minnesota Twins existence since baseball in Minnesota became watchable again.

In four of the Twins six trips to the postseason this millenium, it's been the Yankees who have ended Minnesota's chances to claim it's third World Series title.

Shutting the door in many of the Yankees 12 postseason wins against your hometown nine was a man that is riding off into the sunset after the greatest career by a closer in baseball history.

Last night, the season-long goodbye tour came to a climax, with Mariano Rivera playing his last game in a park he's called home his entire 19-year MLB career.

Just how good was Rivera against the Twins? 35 of his MLB record 652 saves came against Minnesota, striking out 69 in 57 career appearances, while limiting Minnesota to just a .176 batting average.

New York closes out their playoff-less 2013 season with a three game set in Houston.
