Video: Twins prospect Miguel Sano goes deep against Pirates

There has been a lot of talk about the impressive home runs that Miguel Sano has been slugging for the Twins during spring training.

The Twins' third base prospect has been impressing fans and coaches with his power in the minors for years. They were hoping he would bring that power to their Major League lineup at some point last season, but the highly touted youngster underwent Tommy John surgery that caused him to miss the entire season.

On Monday, Sano exhibited some of that power in a Twins spring training game against Pittsburgh, and was it ever impressive. [mlbvideo id="43440083" width="480" height="300" /]

It was Sano's first homer of the spring and was Minnesota's only run in a tie with Pittsburgh.

Here is some reaction to Sano's big fly.

The Twins and Pirates ended the game in a 1-1 tie.
