The 2-9 Vikings have sold out yet another football game, and will allowed to televise the game on FOX 9 this Sunday. Earlier this week, the team announced that 3,000 tickets were available for the Broncos game. They had to be sold by noon today to avoid a TV blackout.

They have until Thursday to sell those tickets and avoid a television blackout. The Vikings have sold out 141 straight home games, dating back to the beginning of the 1998 season. But with a 2-9 record, there is concern that the sellout streak could end.
Vikings in danger of first television blackout since 1997
Approximately 3,500 tickets are still available for Sunday's game at Mall-of-America Field between the Vikings and Saints, according to Vikings vice president of sales/marketing Steve LaCroix. The tickets need to be sold by noon Thursday to avoid the first local television blackout since 1997.
