Vikings confirm Dalvin Cook tore his ACL, is done for the season

Cook tore the ACL in his left knee during Sunday's Vikings-Lions game.

As expected, Dalvin Cook's promising rookie season is over. The Vikings confirmed today that the star running back tore his ACL during yesterday's 14-7 loss to the Detroit Lions.

"I expect him to come back and be the same that he was," said Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer.

Cook had 354 rushing yards and two touchdowns, along with 11 receptions for 90 yards. His 354 yards still rank third in the NFL even though he didn't play the majority of the second half against the Lions.
