Vikings' owner Zygi Wilf is willing to pay $407-million for the $1.1-billion proposed stadium in Arden Hills, and he's hoping the league will contribute $13-million, thus leaving $650-million in the hands of the state and Ramsey County.

Governor Mark Dayton informed the Minnesota Vikings on Monday that if they want a stadium plan approved this year, it will have to be built on the current Metrodome site. Vikings owners Zygi and Mark Wilf are scheduled to meet with Dayton on Wednesday. Lester Bagley, Vice President of Public Affairs and Stadium Development, says the Wilfs are "extremely frustrated with the situation."

Vikings may be warming to Minneapolis' stadium pitch

The Star Tribune reports team owner Zygi Wilf showed two sketches of possible stadium sites in Minneapolis, one near the basilica and the other at the farmer's market. The team is still skeptical about building on the existing Metrodome site.
