Vikes to make 'game day' decision on E.J. Henderson

Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier says he'll decide Sunday if he'll start linebacker E.J. Henderson, who has missed the last two practices with a sore knee. Henderson tells the Star Tribune he's "pretty confident" he'll be ready to play, but Frazier says he wants to be cautious with the injury.

Vikings: Benny Sapp wasn't arrested

Despite earlier reports suggesting otherwise, Vikings cornerback Benny Sapp was not arrested Friday. The Vikings released a statement Friday night saying Sapp "received a citation" but wasn't arrested and fully cooperated with authorities. The Pioneer Press reports that Sapp was handcuffed after "chest bumping" a Children's Hospital security guard in a parking lot.

Vikings re-sign DT Letroy Guion

The Vikings have reportedly re-signed defensive tackle Letroy Guion to a new three-year deal. He had 35 tackles and four sacks in 16 games last year.

League sources tell ProFootballTalk.com the Minnesota Vikings have re-signed defensive tackle Fred Evans. Evans is the second defensive lineman the Vikings have re-signed this week, the first being Letroy Guion. Evans has spent five seasons in Minnesota.

Vikings trying to re-sign Husain Abdullah

The Minnesota Vikings have offered Husain Abdullah a contract to remain in Minnesota, according to Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press. Abdullah, a free agent, is reportedly thinking about the offer. The safety has suffered two concussions in the last four years, one of which forced him to miss the final five games of last season.
