The Vikings are heading back to London in 2017.

The Vikings announced Tuesday morning they'll play the Cleveland Browns at Twickenham Stadium in England as part of next season’s International Series.

The game will be a “home” game for Cleveland, which is scheduled to host Minnesota based on the league’s interconference rotational schedule.

Minnesota has appeared once in the International Series, “hosting” and defeating Pittsburgh, 34-27, in 2013 in front of 83,518 people at London’s Wembley Stadium. Cleveland has not appeared in the International Series.

The Vikings-Browns game will be played in either Week 7 (Oct. 22, 2017) or Week 8 (Oct. 29, 2017). Final details will be released when the full 2017 NFL schedule is released.

“We are honored to once again represent the NFL on a global level and help grow the game of football,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. “This is a unique opportunity to continue highlighting the Vikings brand on an international stage and to give our fans around the world another opportunity to see their favorite team up close.”

The Vikings-Browns game marks just the second in the International Series to be played at Twickenham Stadium. The first was in 2016, a 17-10 win by the Giants over the Rams.

The NFL also announced three other International Series games will occur in England: New Orleans “at” Miami, Baltimore “at” Jacksonville, and Arizona “at” Los Angeles in 2017. It will be the first appearance in an International Series game for Baltimore and Arizona. The Cardinals, did, however, play San Francisco in Mexico in 2005 prior to the 2007 launch of the International Series.
