Monday was a relatively slow day by the standard Vikings training camp usually offers on a daily basis, but there were still some solid story lines to keep up with. Rookie Harrison Smith got some work on the first team defense and Everson Griffen may be moving back to the defensive line.

Adrian Peterson 'back in the mix' as Vikings return to training camp

Adrian Peterson, fresh off the physically unable to perform list, practiced with his teammates Sunday as the Vikings were back in Mankato for training camp. It was the first time he was able to participate with his teammates since tearing his ACL last December. Peterson says he kept his faith and now he's "back in the mix."

Vikings set Mankato training camp dates

For the 47th year, the Vikings will train in Mankato. But for the first time in years, they’ll go back to camp for a week after their first pre-season game. Camp runs from July 26 to August 16.

Fan makes pilgrimage to Vikings training camp from Denmark

Nicklas Rasmussen is in Mankato to see the Vikings in training camp -- all the way from Vallensbaek, Denmark, a suburb of Copenhagen. Rasmussen says he isn't the only NFL fan in Denmark. "I have a teacher who is a Packers fan," Rasmussen says. "He's very annoying."
