Vikings pick up 23-10 win over the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay struggled on offense without their star quarterback.

The Vikings hold a share of first place in the NFC North with a 23-10 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Early in the first quarter, Green Bay lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a broken collarbone after he took a big hit from Anthony Barr and was replaced by backup Brett Hundley.

After Hundley threw an interception, the Vikings would get on the board two plays later when Jerick McKinnon caught a 27-yard pass, giving Minnesota a 7-0 lead.

Unfortunately, McKinnon fumbled on the next possession, which set up a Packers touchdown. Despite the fumble, the Vikings continued to feed McKinnon as he secured his second touchdown and Minnesota led 14-7.

As the first half winded down, the Vikings entered Green Bay territory once again. But Case Keenum's first interception of the season led to a Packers field goal, which cut the lead to 14-10 heading into halftime.

In the second half, Kai Forbath knocked in three field goals – and Minnesota never looked back.

After losing Rodgers, Green Bay looked lost on offense, as the Vikings out-gained the Packers 352-227 in total yards, with the majority of those yards coming on Green Bay's final drive.

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen had another monster game, hauling in nine passes for 97 yards.

With the win, the Vikings are 4-2 on the season and will host the Baltimore Ravens next weekend from U.S. Bank Stadium.
