NFL Network's Tom Pelissero says the Vikings sent a private jet to pick up Kirk Cousins in Atlanta.

Original story

The deal will still likely get done, but NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is reporting that Kirk Cousins and the Vikings have not agreed to terms on the three-year, $84 million contract that's been reported.

Cousins will eat dinner with Mike Zimmer and the coaching staff Wednesday and then check out the team's new headquarters in Eagan on Thursday. Along the way they'll attempt to finalize the contract.

"It cannot be stated enough: Cousins has not agreed to terms, there is not a done deal here," Pelissero says. "There is still some things they need to work through in terms of the guaranteed structure."

Again, Pelissero isn't trying to put Vikings fans into panic mode. He says the deal will likely be finalized and Cousins could be introduced to Minnesota on Thursday.
