Although the Vikings stadium bill was signed into law by Governor Mark Dayton on Monday, the stadium isn't a guarantee quite yet. It still needs to pass a Minneapolis City Council vote, which will be held May 25. Sources tell ProFootballTalk the vote is expected to go in favor of the Vikings.

The battle between Christian Ponder and Joe Webb will likely rage on until the start of next season. But quarterback controversies are nothing new to Minnesota. Ex-Viking quarterbacks Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Wade Wilson, Rich Gannon, Warren Moon and Tommy Kramer have all been involved in controversies of their own.

History between the Vikings and Falcons

The most recognizable game between the Vikings and Falcons happened in January of 1999. Atlanta upset the heavily favored Vikings in the NFC Championship game. As much as that pains Minnesota fans to this day, it's not the only game between these two teams.
