Vikings release Bethel-Thompson to make room for Freeman

It was a nice run for McLeod John Baltazar Bethel-Thompson.

Kind of. I mean, he did play in the NFL and collect a sweet paycheck for a little while.

MBT was released by the Vikings in a move that creates a roster spot for quarterback Josh Freeman.

There's a chance the Vikings sign MBT to the practice squad, but he'll have to clear waivers first.

In case you never caught MBT fire, this is what you missed.

When we here at BringMeTheNews remember MBT, we'll always go back to his first-down completion to offensive lineman DeMarcus Love.

Good times, MBT... good times.
