About 100 people gathered at the Lake Nokomis Community Center Tuesday night for the first of two public forums on the controversial plan to fund the proposed downtown stadium. Report: Vikings stadium bill reached

A.J. Mansour of KFAN reports the Vikings, the State of Minnesota and the City of Minneapolis are reportedly close to a deal on a Vikings stadium bill. An agreement is expected to be announced during a press conference at 9:00 a.m. The new stadium site would be located near the Metrodome. The Vikings would be able to play the next two to three seasons at the Dome.

Minneapolis Mayor to hold first public forum on proposed Vikings Stadium

Minneapolis City Council members voted 7-6 in a decision to back the Vikings stadium funding plan, which is moving through the legislature. $675 million in city generated taxes will be retained through 2046 to fund the stadium.
