Chicago Bears 20

The Vikings scored twice in the fourth quarter to beat the Bears 23-20 in Chicago Sunday afternoon, their first victory at Soldier Field since 2007.

The offense didn't get in a rhythm until late in the fourth quarter, when quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed two huge passes – including a 40-yard TD ball to rookie Stefon Diggs that tied the game at 20-20 with less than 2 minutes to go.

The Bears got the ball back but went three and out, and Bridgewater tossed a beautiful 35-yard pass to Charles Johnson to take the Vikings downfield quickly.

After a couple more plays, Blair Walsh kicked the game-winning 36-yard field goal as time expired to give the Vikings their fifth win of the season.

Diggs finished the game with six catches for 95 yards and the touchdown, according to ESPN.

The Vikings got on board in the first quarter when Marcus Sherels returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown, making the score 7-3.

Just as the half was coming to an end, Chicago scored a touchdown that was set up when Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller intercepted a Bridgewater pass at midfield.

Three plays later, Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler threw a 21-yard touchdown strike to Alshon Jeffrey to tie the game at 10-10.

They traded field goals early in the second half and were tied 13-13 in the fourth quarter, when Cutler took the ball in from four yards out to score his first rushing touchdown of the season.

There was some question whether Cutler was down before the ball crossed the goal line, but the referees confirmed the ruling of a touchdown.

It was on the Vikings' next drive that Bridgewater connected with Diggs for the long touchdown – the second TD for the rookie receiver in as many games.

Bridgewater was 17-of-30 for 187 yards passing, and Adrian Peterson finished with 103 yards rushing, the Associated Press notes.

Minnesota is 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the NFC North. The Vikings host St. Louis next week at TCF Bank Stadium.
