Vikings to host offensive tackle Geoff Schwartz on Monday

The team signed tight end John Carlson, as well as re-signing defensive linemen Letroy Guion and Fred Evans. The next name to sign could be offensive tackle, Geoff Schwartz, who is expected to work out for the Vikings on Monday.

Vikings agree to terms with offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz

Christian Ponder is probably feeling a littler safer today because the Vikings are expected to sign free-agent offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz. Schwartz broke the news on his Twitter page by tweeting he's "excited to be a Minnesota Viking." The 6-foot-6, 331 pound lineman is projected to replace Anthony Herrera at right guard.
