Bagley: Vikings set to play September 2013 home game overseas

The Minnesota Vikings will only play seven regular-season home games at Mall of America Field next year. The Pioneer Press reports Lester Bagley, Vikings vice president of public affairs and stadium development, has confirmed the Purple will play a home game at London's historic Wembley Stadium next September. The opponent and date is expected to be announced later this week.

As expected the Minnesota Vikings will be playing a game at Wembley Stadium in London next season. The NFL announced Tuesday the Vikings will play the Steelers next year on September 29. Team president Mark Wilf says the Vikings are honored to represent the NFL on a global level.
