Maybe you noticed, but former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o's girlfriend died. It's unfortunate, but perfect for a movie script. It turned out that his girlfriend was fake. Yes. Fake. She wasn't real.

Te'o was considered a surefire first-round draft pick, but questions about his role in the elaborate lie might lower his draft position.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman tells the Pioneer Press that every team will have "their difference of opinion" on Te'o. He also admitted he watched Dr. Phil for the first time when Te'o was a guest discussing his crazy story.

The Vikings have nine picks in the 2013 NFL Draft. They own their normal picks in rounds 1-through-7 and additional selections in the fourth and seventh rounds.
