The disastrous 2016 Vikings season came to a close on Sunday in their 38-10 win over the Chicago Bears. After opening the season 5-0, the Vikings ended the season by winning just 3 of their next 11 games.

Quarterback Sam Bradford had a big game on Sunday, throwing for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also set the NFL record for completion percentage this season – completing 71.6 percent of his passes.

Bradford didn't miss a beat in the first half, completing 17-22 passes. He hit Jerick Mckinnon, Kyle Rudolph and Jarius Wright for touchdowns.

Rudolph's touchdown was the 29th in his career which set a Vikings franchise record.

The Bears were able to get on the board toward the end of the second quarter but the Vikings led 24-10 at halftime.

Minnesota added two-more touchdown in the fourth quarter with McKinnon rushing one in and Everson Griffen recovering a fumble for a touchdown.

The Vikings close the season with a record of 8-8.
