A violent collision with teammate Andrew Sendejo left Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes lying motionless on the ground during the second quarter of Minnesota's 31-14 home victory over the San Diego Chargers Sunday.
Eventually, Rhodes was able to sit up and wobble off the field with the help of a training staff. The result of the blow was a concussion, the Vikings confirmed Monday.
In fact, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said Rhodes has already passed one concussion test and is "feeling great. Zimmer doesn't believe Rhodes will miss this week's game against Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
Wide receiver Charles Johnson should be ready to play in Denver despite missing most of the Chargers game with an injury to his ribs.
