Watch: Awesome view of Mayer Lutheran's wild buzzer-beater to reach State

Cole Hagan is his name and hitting buzzer beaters is his game.

March Madness isn't reserved for college basketball, and a section championship game in Minnesota proved it once again on Friday night.

Tied 75-75 with about 10 seconds to play, Mayer Lutheran knocked off No. 1 seed Springfield with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to win the Section 2A title.

Cole Hagan hit the shot – and held the pose well before the ball went through the net – and that's as good as it gets and there's a good chance we get some more wild finishes with more section finals Friday and Saturday, and then again in the State Tournament next week.

We'll have more coverage of the brackets when they're released Sunday morning, and of course plenty of championship Saturday coverage for the girls' tournament.
