The Minnesota Twins designated Byungho Park for assignment during the offseason. But now that he's competing for a roster spot, the Korean slugger is starting to swing a hot bat.
Park has been Minnesota's best hitter so far in Grapefruit League play and he was at it again on Monday – slugging another two-run homer to spark the Twins to a 9-6 victory over Miami at CenturyLink Sports Complex.

"That was nice to see," Twins manager Paul Molitor said after Monday's game. "It was another two-strike at-bat where he was able to do something with the baseball."
His second homer of the spring was an encouraging sign for Park, who struck out 80 times last season in 215 at bats with the Twins, while hitting .191 with 12 home runs.
