The Gophers men's hockey team got a much-needed road sweep of the rival Wisconsin Badgers this weekend.
During Saturday night's 7-1 victory, sophomore forward Rem Pitlick scored the kind of goal that you just don't see every day.
Deflecting a puck out of mid-air is one thing, but to put a good swing on it and send it exactly where you want to is another thing.
And oh by the way, it as No. 4 on SportCenter's top 10 plays from Saturday.
Overall, the Gophers are down this season with a record of 18-13-1, putting them in fourth place in the Big Ten standings.
The good news is that they've won five of their last six and appear to be getting hot at the right time. Minnesota hosts Ohio State next weekend followed by a series in Penn State to close the regular season.
The Big Ten Tournament runs March 2-17.
