Watch: Jake Guentzel was mic'd up for his 4-goal game against Philly
Jake Guentzel, the former Minnesota high school hockey standout turned NHL playoff scoring machine, was mic'd up during his monster game for the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday.
The video is fantastic, with Guentzel having a blast on his way to 4 goals and an assist as the Penguins eliminated the Philadelphia Flyers in the first round.
Guentzel is an odd mix of polite and cocky, which is so Minnesotan we can hardly handle it.
"Last time you did that I scored," he says before letting out a loud laugh when the Flyers player responds: "You just (expletive) jinxed it."
Jinx? Not even close. Guentzel went on to score three more goals, at one point reminding the Flyers player: "I told you not to. I told you."
