EDITOR'S PICK: Watch a St. Paul Saints fan catch a flying bat, with a beer in his other hand

Author:

Baseball fans are often seen scrambling to catch home run or foul balls in the bleachers – but only one fan stepped up to catch a flying bat.

During the St. Paul Saints' debut game at CHS Field on May 21st, a Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks hitter swung for a strike, but let go of his bat mid-swing.

The bat flew through the air into the crowd, where one very dextrous man made the one-handed grab – and took the subsequent applause.

The feat was all the more remarkable given that he was holding a beer in his other hand.
