Watch: Tom Johnson flagged for roughing the passer

Is this the worst call ever?

Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson was flagged for playing football, or roughing the passer, according to NFL referees.

In what would have been a three-and-out for the Saints, Johnson's roughing the passer penalty extended a New Orleans drive which led to a field goal.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero tweeted out the rule for hitting a quarterback too low.

The rest of the Twitter world was in disbelief over the call.
