Watch: Twins bring back former players to honor David Ortiz

David Ortiz is 40 years old and he's still bashing baseballs like he's in the prime of his career even though he plans to retire following the season.

Although Ortiz isn't all that fond of his short time in the Twins' organization – see his harsh comments from earlier this week right here – he was still honored by the Twins before the series opener at Target Field on Friday night.

In the video, Torii Hunter and Corey Koskie tell a story about a prank they pulled on Ortiz involving peanut butter in his underwear.

Here's the video.

Along with Hunter and Koskie, the Twins brought out Eddie Guardado, LaTroy Hawkins and former manager Ron Gardenhire for the ceremony.

Entering Saturday's Twins-Red Sox game, Ortiz was second in the American League in batting average (.340), fourth in home runs (16) and first in RBIs (55).
