Minnesota Twins minor league third baseman Tommy Field was flashing all sorts of leather on Wednesday night.

In the second inning of a game between with the Rochester Red Wings, Field made three consecutive amazing plays.

  1. Leaping catch on a sharp line drive
  2. Diving stop to his left and throw to first base
  3. Diving stop to his right and throw to first base from his knee

Here's the video. This doesn't happen very often. "Tommy Field just murderized the Clippers," the play-by-play announcer said.
