Watch: Wild's Nick Seeler gets into vicious first fight in the NHL

Holy haymakers!

Nick Seeler dropped the gloves and treated Luke Witkowski's face like a punching bag and it sparked the Wild to a 4-1 win over the Red Wings on Sunday night in St. Paul.

Seeler, the Eden Prairie native who is known for being tough as nails on the ice, appeared less interested in protecting himself than he did in landing right hand after right hand to Witkowski's mug.

The fight started not long after Witkowski took a run at Zach Parise, so Seeler was likely sending a message to protect the Wild's veteran leader.

Like we mentioned, Seeler is no stranger to a fight. Just check out what you get when you search his name on YouTube
