The Minnesota Lynx are counting down to the start of the 2013 WNBA season. 15 days from Friday the Lynx open regular season play at home against Connecticut on June 1.
The top training camp talker is the reunion of Lindsay Whalen and Janelle McCarville, who are playing on the same team for the first time since leading the Gophers to the NCAA Final Four in 2004.
"It's a pretty unique opportunity for us, after all these years after college to now be able to play together as pros," Whalen tells FOX Sports North. "I think we all just kind of hoped and thought someday it would work out again.
Thursday was media day for the Lynx -- a day that rookies Lindsey Moore and Sugar Rodgers really enjoyed.
