Anxious Minnesota sports fans will need two TVs in order to maximize their nerves while the Wild and Wolves are playing critical games at the same time.

At 6 p.m. the Wild drop the puck in Winnipeg in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series against the Jets. Then at 7 p.m. it's the Wolves and Nuggets from Target Center in an elimination game to finish the regular season.

If the Wolves win they're in the playoffs for the first time since 2004. If they lose, their season is over.

The Wild game will be on Fox Sports North and CNBC.

The Wolves game was originally scheduled to be on Fox Sports North, but with the Wild playoff game taking precedence, it's been moved to Fox Sports North PLUS.

This is actually bad news for Wolves fans who've unplugged from cable and satellite because Fox Sports North PLUS is not available on Sling, DirecTV Now and Playstation Vue. It is available on YouTube TV.

The Twins also play the Astros on Wednesday, but that's a 12:10 p.m. start on Fox Sports North.

Here's the channel information for the rest of the Wild playoff games.

  • Game 2 Friday is on FSN and USA
  • Game 3 Sunday is on FSN and USA
  • Game 4 Tuesday is on FSN and CNBC
  • Games 5, 6 and 7 are still to be determined.
