What in the world of sports?!? Robinson Cano $240 million richer thanks to Jay Z

In what was a back and forth, he-said-she-said tug of war between the Seattle Mariners and Jay Z, the representative for former Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano in his free-agent journey this offseason, reports say the two have agreed to a 10-year, $240 million deal.

That...is a lot of money.

How much money is it? According to Yahoo! Sports, the contract will be tied for the third-largest in Major League Baseball history.

Since baseball deals tend to reach the highest sums thanks to contracts that last upwards of 10 years, multiple sources say that this contract will also be the tied for the third-largest in sports history.

Jay Z, great musician, better businessman.
