Lin leads Knicks past Wolves, 100-98

Minnesota was defeated by New York 100-98 Saturday night in front of the largest Target Center Crowd since 2004. Jeremy Lin has helped lead the Knicks to five straight victories. Kevin Love had 32 points and 21 rebounds. Nikola Pekovic also had a double-double with 21 points and 13 assists. The Wolves are off to Orlando on Monday.

Rubio surgery set for Wednesday

Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio will undergo surgery next Wednesday in Colorado to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced. Rubio's season ended on March 9 after a collision with L.A.'s Kobe Bryant at Target Center.

Rubio limited with sprained ankle

Ricky Rubio was limited in practice and didn't play in today's scrimmage because of a sprained ankle he suffered in last weekend's preseason game against Milwaukee. Rubio will continue treating his ankle. The Wolves have a preseason game in Milwaukee Wednesday before opening the season next Monday against Oklahoma City.
