White Sox break late tie, hold off Twins, 3-2

The Chicago White Sox broke a 2-2 tie with two outs in the eighth inning and held off the Twins for a 3-2 victory at Target Field Wednesday. Losing pitcher Scott Diamond gave up the winning run after taking a line-drive to the stomach and throwing wide in his attempt to nab the Sox runner at the plate.
