The Chicago White Sox broke a 2-2 tie with two outs in the eighth inning and held off the Twins for a 3-2 victory at Target Field Wednesday. Losing pitcher Scott Diamond gave up the winning run after taking a line-drive to the stomach and throwing wide in his attempt to nab the Sox runner at the plate.

White Sox hammer Twins' bullpen, win 11-4

Cole De Vries gave the Twins a chance to win, but the bullpen was blown apart in the seventh and eighth innings -- giving up nine runs and allowing the White Sox to come from behind for an 11-4 win. Josh Willingham provided the Twins’ firepower with his 24th and 25th homers of the season.

A night after scoring nine-runs the Twins' bats went silent as they were shut out in Chicago, 6-0. Left hander Chris Sale held the Twins to two hits in seven innings. Scott Diamond took the loss, dropping to 3-1 on the year.

Floyd, White Sox nip the Twins, 3-2

After losing eight straight starts against the Twins, Gavin Floyd finally broke through with a dominant performance Tuesday night, leading Chicago to a 3-2 win at Target Field. Floyd held the Twins to five hits and struck out nine over seven strong innings.
