St. Scholastica men’s hockey coach Mark Wick was named NCHA coach of the year this week, the league has announced. Wick’s Saints were expected to finish last in the division, but instead finished second and are expected to do well in the playoffs.

Troy Jutting has agreed to step down as the head hockey coach at Minnesota State Mankato University. Jutting, who also played for the Mavericks, will take over other administrative duties until his contract expires next year. He's been Minnesota State's head coach since 2000.
