The Wild got back to their winning ways Thursday by edging the New York Rangers 2-1 at the Xcel Energy Center, the Star Tribune reports.

The victory ends a three-game winless streak by the Wild.

Nino Niederreiter got the Wild on the board first with wrist shot at 13:08 in the first period, while New York's Derek Stephan tied it up in the second with a snap shot at 3:19 in the second.

Zach Parise got what turned out to be his 46th game-winning goal for the Wild at 1:03 in the third period – a fitting finish given Thursday was Zach Parise Bobblehead Night at the X.

The Wild wrap up their four-game homestand with a Saturday night match-up against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Xcel Energy Center.
