Wild: Mike Yeo has GM Chuck Fletcher's support

A 4-5-1 start to a shortened season isn't what Wild head coach Mike Yeo needed. The second-year coach is already being asked during postgame press conferences if he's feeling pressure. In other words, does he think his job is on the line?

General manager Chuck Fletcher silenced such questions when he gave Yeo his full support on Friday.

“Mike and the coaches are doing a very good job," Fletcher told Michael Russo. "We’re trying to find chemistry and frankly we can’t get caught up in the angst and outside opinions and reaction. We just have to stay focused and concentrate on doing a better job and executing at a better level."

"We have too many good players for things not to turn," Fletcher continued. "Things will turn, they always do."

SBNation takes a look at what would happen if the Wild decided to fire Yeo.

Yeo has juggled the line combinations a lot already, and he did so again during Friday's practice. The Star Tribune reports that Devin Setoguchi will play on the second line with Dany Heatley and Mikael Granlund while Matt Cullen will switch to the third line with Cal Clutterbuck and Kyle Brodziak.

Zach Parise missed practice because he was sick. He's expected to play Saturday against Nashville, so that likely means Pierre Marc-Bouchard will play on the fourth line.
