Goals by Ryan Carter and Thomas Vanek in the second period fueled the Wild to a 2-1 road victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday night.

The game was scoreless after one period before Carter found the back of the net on a wrist shot at the 3:34 mark of the second period, and Vanek made it a 2-0 Wild lead at the 11:20 mark of the period.

Meanwhile, goalie Devan Dubnyk kept the Stars off the board until Jamie Benn scored his 25th goal of the season with fewer than four minutes left in the game. Dubnyk, who was named an All-Star earlier this week, stopped 34 of 35 shots on the night.
