The 2012 IIHF World Championship is being played in Finland and Sweden starting Friday, and members of the Minnesota Wild are participating. Goalie Matt Hackett is playing for Canada, Mikko Koivu and prospect Mikael Granlund are with Finland and 2011 first-round pick Jonas Brodin is representing Sweden.
