The Minnesota Wild survived a battle with the Toronto Maple Leafs, pulling out a 2-1 road victory in Toronto Thursday night.

1. Granlund's game winner lifts Wild to road win

Mikael Granlund's eighth goal of the season proved to be the game-winner for the Wild.


Granlund's eighth goal matched his career high for goals in a season.

2. Red hot power play

The Wild have been red hot on the power play. Thursday night both Minnesota goals came on the power play, continuing a trend for the Wild who have been efficient with an extra man recently.



Mikko Koivu's power play goal was his 14th goal of the season, and his eighth power play goal of the year.

3. Dubnyk stays hot in Toronto

Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced for the Wild Thursday night, holding Toronto to a single goal.
