The Minnesota Wild’s five game winning streak came to an end last night with a 3-1 loss in San Jose. The Sharks scored three goals in the second period to pull away for the win. Kyle Brodziak scored Minnesota's lone goal and Niklas Backstrom took the loss in net.

The Minnesota Wild led San Jose 4-2 with less than three-minutes left in the third period Tuesday night, but the Sharks silenced the Xcel Energy Center crowd by tying the game with goals 22 seconds apart, sending the game to overtime, and eventually a shootout. Matt Cullen and Mikko Koivu scored on the Wild's first two shootout attempts, and Josh Harding made two saves for the 5-4 win.
