Williams lands on feet; signs with 76ers

One Gopher down, one to go.

After not hearing his name called in last night's NBA Draft, Rodney Williams has found a team willing to take a chance on his boom or bust potential, as he signed early this morning with the Philadelphia 76ers on a free agent deal, Yahoo Sports reports.

He'll join Minnesota native Nate Wolters as a member of the 76ers, Wolters was taken 36th overall by Philadelphia last night.

That leaves Trevor Mbakwe as the only player with Minnesota ties without an NBA home. St Louis Park native Mike Muscala was drafted 44th overall by Atlanta, and former Gopher Colton Iverson was taken 53rd by the Indiana Pacers.
