Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden will be held out for a third consecutive week with a foot injury. That's good news for a Vikings' defense already without Antoine Winfield and Husain Abdullah.

They might be 2-7, with no hope of the playoffs this year, but the Vikings have sold out another game at Mall of America Field. The team says that means Sunday’s contest against Oakland will be televised locally. It’s a noon start against the 5-4 Raiders.

Oakland Raiders coach Hue Jackson says he felt the penalties called against his team during the game with the Vikings were "unfair." The Raiders were flagged 12 times for 117 yards. Jackson says when it comes to tackling or hitting, he doesn't "even know what football is right now."

The Vikings are changing the way it checks fans coming into Mall of America Field. Instead of getting a patdown, ticket holders will now be checked with a metal-detecting wand. The change starts this Sunday before the Oakland Raiders game, and will be fully implemented before the Dec. 4 home game against the Denver Broncos.

Mike Tice will not be interviewing for the Oakland Raiders head coaching job. Reports last week indicated that Tice was lined up for an interview, but the Raiders have narrowed their search, and Tice is no longer on the list. Tice says he is disappointed, but believes things happen for a reason.

Fans tell KSTP-TV they missed most of the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders because of new metal detectors being used to search fans instead of the traditional patdown.
