After seeing a hand specialist it's now believed that Kevin Love will miss 5-6 weeks. With their MVP candidate out for at least the first month of the season, what will the Timberwolves do?

A body blow to the Timberwolves Wednesday as All-Star Kevin Love broke his hand while working out at home. The team says Love is likely to be out 6-8 weeks. The regular season starts November 2nd, so he could miss all of November, and maybe a few games in December.

The Timberwolves have now lost 18 straight to the Lakers, who came into Target Center and won, 105-102 tonight. Kevin Love missed the game with back spasms. Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 32 points.
