Wolves' Malcolm Lee out indefinitely

Timberwolves shooting guard Malcolm Lee is out indefinitely after he injured his knee during Wednesday night's game in Denver.

The team says Lee suffered a chondral injury to his right knee--damage to the articular cartilage resulting from twisting the joint or moving it unnaturally. The second-year guard missed part of the season last year after an injury in his left knee.

Lee became a starter when Brandon Roy was also sidelined with knee problems.

Alexey Shved will replace Lee in his first NBA start tonight in New Orleans. Josh Howard will also play after missing Wednesday's game due to an illness.

Ricky Rubio did not travel with the team Friday, he's rumored to be resting for his season debut at Target Center Saturday night against Dallas.
