The Timberwolves beat Dallas in an important game 123-122, in overtime. Dallas rallied in the fourth quarter to push the game into overtime, but the Wolves pulled it out.

It was a big win for the Wolves as they recorded their first road win of the season against a team that is currently in the playoff race.

Ricky Rubio had a triple-double in the game for the Wolves. He scored 22 points, dished out 15 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds. Wolves rookie Gorgui Deng had a double-double. He scored 10 points and grabbed 12 boards.

Kevin Love still led the Wolves, he scored 35 points. Kevin Martin also had 19.

Dirk Nowitzki led the way for the Mavericks with 27 points.

Minnesota built an early lead outscoring the Mavericks 37-24 in the first quarter. They extended the lead to 22, but then quickly watched it evaporate before half time.

Trailing 122-121 in overtime, Love hit a jumper with :17 to play. Dallas had a chance to reclaim the lead but Nowitzki's jumper was no good and Corey Brewer grabbed the rebound and the Wolves earned the win.

The Wolves (34-32) play at Houston on Thursday.
