The Timberwolves were no match for the Utah Jazz on Monday night, falling 104-84 at Target Center.

Utah went on a late run at the end of the first half, then used the momentum to outscore the Wolves 31-17 in the third quarter. The Wolves were never able to re-gain the momentum.

Gordon Hayward led the way for the Jazz with 22 points. Trevor Booker added 17 points and 13 rebounds, but he wasn't the only Utah player with a double-double. Rudy Gobert chipped in 15 points and 12 boards.

Trey Burke continued to kill the Timberwolves. He busted out of a terrible shooting slump by knocking down a pair of three-pointers and scoring 19 points.

The Wolves were dealing with more injuries. Just a day after getting Robbie Hummel and Anthony Bennett back from injuries, Gorgui Dieng missed a game for the first time in his NBA career with concussion-like symptoms. There is no word on how long he'll be out.

The Wolves didn't have many highlights, but early on Andrew Wiggins kept fans entertained with a pair of spectacular dunks over Gobert.

Wiggins finished with 17 points, while Minnesota's other rookie Zach LaVine led the way with 21.

The Wolves (16-58) return to Target Center on Wednesday night when they welcome in Toronto.
