Ridnour up for sportsmanship award

Luke Ridnour is one of six divisional finalists for the NBA's Sportsmanship Award. The other five are Chris Paul of the Clippers, Antawn Jamison of the Cavs, Dallas' Jason Kidd, Miami's Shane Battier and Jeremy Lin of the Knicks.

Love, Wolves pound Portland for third straight win

The Timberwolves pounded Portland, 106-94 Wednesday night at Target Center for their third straight win, and fifth straight at home. Kevin Love continued his torrid pace with 29 points and 16 rebounds and Wes Johnson had his best game as a pro, scoring 19 points on 8-11 shooting.

Rubio, Pekovic lead Wolves over Kings

Kevin Love served the first of his two game suspension Tuesday night, and the Wolves still found a way to win. They beat the Kings at Target Center, 86-84. The Wolves are now one game over .500 at 13-12. Nikola Pekovic had a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds and Ricky Rubio tied a career-high with 14 assists.

Blazers blast Wolves, 119-106

The injury riddled Timberwolves dropped an important game to the Trail Blazers, 119-106, Sunday night in Portland. Injuries kept Nikola Pekovic, Michael Beasley and J.J. Barea out of the game. With only 12 games to go, the Wolves are three-and-a-half games behind Houston for the eighth spot in the Western Conference playoff race.
