Wolves want Pekovic signed by training camp

The bad news is that Nikola Pekovic still hasn't signed with the Timberwolves. The good news is that Flip Saunders still thinks Pekovic will sign.

"I believe we are the best situation for him,'' Saunders told the Pioneer Press. "I do believe that Pek knows what we have brought in and that this is a positive place. I think we are moving in the right direction.''

WCCO reports that talks are progressing and fans should expect Pekovic to eventually sign a four-year deal worth approximately $48 million.
