The Timberwolves held their intra-squad scrimmage at Target Center Monday evening, with the players in the black jerseys defeating those in white, 68-54.

There were a lot of impressive dunks, and lots of excitement for the young Wolves. Second-year guard Zach LaVine drew some of the spotlight during the event with his smooth touch.

As always, his dunking was also on full display.

LaVine finished with 11 points. A few of the Timberwolves' newcomers also played well. Apple Valley native Tyus Jones finished with 11 points, while top pick Karl-Anthony Towns had 13.

The Wolves open their preseason on Wednesday night at home against Oklahoma City. Then they'll head to Canada for three straight games, beginning Saturday night against Chicago in Winnipeg.
